ABOUT DIVE MASON
Founded in the fall of 2022, Dive Mason provides the Northern Virginia area with an exciting new opportunity to pursue the Olympic sport of diving. Our mission is to provide safe, high-quality diving instruction for divers of all skill levels. Our instructors create an encouraging environment that fosters personal development along with skill development and competitive success.
The facilities at George Mason allow for top quality in-water and dryland training opportunities, and our staff has a wealth of experience training athletes to national and international levels. All of these elements combine to provide young athletes a training experience they will be proud to be a part of. We are building a team - join us!

JOin Us

Location: Dive Mason practices are held at Aquatics and Fitness Center (the AFC) on George Mason’s campus. The address is 4520 Patriot Cir, Fairfax, VA 22030

Facility: Our facility includes four 1-meter diving boards, two 3-meter diving boards, and a 1-meter platform.

Dryland Facility:  Our dryland facility includes a dry-board, spotting rigs/harnesses, full-size trampoline, slant boards, and workout equipment. 

Spectator Policy: Parents are not allowed down the stairs onto the deck for any reason (barring medical emergency/extremely extenuating circumstances). Unfortunately, this includes walking your child down to the deck. If there are concerns with your child figuring out how to access the deck, we can arrange to have a staff member meet your child upstairs to escort them down.

Locker Room Policy: The locker rooms are for bathroom use only. Divers are not permitted to change in the locker rooms. 

Accessing Deck:  All athletes are required to have a bag tag to access the pool deck. These are purchased from Dive Mason. Each bag tag is a plastic card with a rubber lanyard to attach to the divers’ bag. 

Parking and Pick-Up Drop-Off Point:  Parking passes can be purchased on a limited basis from Dive Mason, allowing parents/guardians to park in lots A and C on the GMU campus. By GPS-ing “Holston Creek Ct,” that will take you right to lot C, behind the aquatics facility. Google Map Pin 

This lot is also the preferred pick-up drop-off point for the facility. The area is signed up, and once dropped off, there is a small bridge and stairway that takes you right to the facility.

Hourly parking is available in Shenandoah or Rappahannock parking decks.
